David Byrd-Marrow - French Horn
Atlanta native David Byrd-Marrow received his Bachelor's degree from The Juilliard School where he studied with the late Jerome Ashby. For his Master's degree, David went on to study with William Purvis at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He was then selected for fellowship in the Juilliard-Carnegie Hall Academy Ensemble ACJW. David is the Horn Soloist for both the International Contemporary Ensemble and the Talea Ensemble. He recently joined the Harrisburg Symphony and has also played and recorded with such groups as Carnegie Hall's Zankel Band, The Orchestra of St. Luke's, The Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, The Tokyo Symphony, The New York City and Atlanta Operas and The New York Philharmonic.
